Therapy Gone To The Dogs

Therapy Gone to the Dogs offers children and adolescents a bridge between the medical and mental health communities through licensed nurse practitioner Anita Katz, PMHNP who serves as a guide in their journey to improved mental health. Anita's unique approach encompasses canine therapy as well as the ability to prescribe medications when applicable with a consistent management of the healing process through ongoing evaluations for progress on medication, therapy and alternative referrals.

Each patient assessment is individualized evaluating the patient from both the clinical standpoint as well as the individual path to help the patient. This involves looking at all factors from a broad scope of health issues that attribute to mental health; i.e. diet and nutrition, hydration, chemical make-up, sleep, exercise, outside forces, stress, interactions with others, etc.. All resources are explored to guide the patients journey to improved mental health.
